Every leaf and print is a unique marking. Presented on a clear background, the shapes and sizes of the leaves become very clear and visible, creating a link to nature in the minds eye of the viewer.

“As a creator I am always looking for new ways to develope my skillset, to try to combine old traditions with the contemporary needs and ways of life and finding my own passion through discovering and creating.
I can not hide the fact that I’m into “old stuff”, as funny as it sounds, I have always been fascinated by the lives, traditions, lore of those who have already passed.
Im fascinated by the ground, plants, structures, natural materials. The mystery of understanding through creating in the similar matter or with materials.
So in my creation I am in love with researching the old, the vintage, the primal etc. Finding ways to bring nature into the everyday and have a more nature loving experience as a human in a industrial world.”

“In my research I’ve worked with stone, skin, wool, finding ways to make fiber for thread from nettle, linen and wool, looked into botanical & mushroom dyes and printing techniques. Combined chemical compounds with natural matter to develope new materials for interior products or textiles. And will continue to experiment for new solutions.”
